Winter and Spring, The Recession and the Recovery

It’s been a cold Winter. Sometimes it seems that Spring will never come. But guess what! It’s on its way. Notice the days growing longer as the sun rises a little further north in the eastern sky every morning. We can mope around complaining or we can enjoy the final days of Winter and rejoice in the anticipation of Spring.We face a similar choice in dealing with today’s economy. So far we have recovered from every recession we’ve ever experienced. We can’t deny the pain some are experiencing, however we don’t have to spread gloom wherever we go either. Be the one at work who lightens things up, who lifts the spirits of those who work with us. Let your focus be on what folks are doing to get us out of this mess. Even better, focus on what you can do. Be part of the solution.
